circular, the lid centred with a red enamel oval applied with ivory monogram: AF; silver moiré foil ground, interlaced lemon gold borders, horn lining, maker's mark rubbed but possibly that of ,J.F. Delanoy, charge mark of J.B.Fouache

Condition

The box gives a good overall impression but the foil would originally have been enamelled.
