Une autre cafetière d'Augsbourg aussi tôt, réalisée en 1695 par Johann Ulrich Baur, est illustrée dans le livre d'Helmut Seling ainsi qu'une théière datée de 1690 réalisée par un autre membre de la famille Baur, Matthaus II, et gravée d'images à l'ottomane, reflétant  la fascination de l'Europe au XVIIe siècle pour l'empire ottoman, mélange de fascination et de terreur.
