Catalogue Note
Le Jockey Club du Brésil, fondé en 1866, était le propriétaire de l'hippodrome Gavea de Rio de Janeiro construit dans un style français par Francisco Couchet. La construction commença en 1921, date à laquelle cette coupe fut remportée suite à une course qui a probablement eu lieu à l'Hipodromo Argento de Palermo, Buenos Aires. Il fut achevé en 1926.
The Brazilian Jockey Club founded in 1866 was the owner of the Rio de Janeiro Hippodrome Gavea built in French style by Francisco Couchet. Building started in 1921 the year this cup was awarded for a race probably held at the Hipodromo Argento de Palermo in Buenos Aires, and was completed in 1926.
