la coupe polylobée repoussée au centre de Mercure endormant Argus au son de sa flûte, sur les lobes des scènes du même mythe, Io transformée en vache et  Mercure tenant  la tête d'Argus, ainsi que d'autres représentant Pan et Syrinx, Phaéton devant son père Apollon, Phaéton sur le char  et  la mort de Phaéton, le fût en forme de cheval dressé, poinçon de maître ou du marchand IGV entrelacés sur le bol, poinçons sur le pied IE et six roses une elipse dessous

Condition

edge of foot with small splits, slightly bent upwards, head and neck of horse with signs of possible repairs but probably casting faults, lead solder at join of capstem with head of horse, minor split at rim of bowl and a few little dents, generally in good condition, a very interesting piece with lively decoration.
