Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is dirty with scattered areas of craquelure. There is a minor spot of paint loss above the horse's shoulder. ULTAVIOLET UV light reveals no sign of retouching. FRAME Held in a later plaster frame with some chips to the plasterwork.
