Condition
Sold in a modern frame. Window mounted on japan paper. Some very pale foxing, but otherwise in excellent condition, the watercolour still strong and fresh.

Catalogue Note
The Schuitenvoerdersstijger was constructed by the Bastion Kamperhoofd at the IJ. The Kamperhoofd was built in 1484 next to the Oudezijdskolk as part of the defensive works around Amsterdam.
