Condition

Unframed. The ink is somewhat sunk and the paper a little browned . There is a slight loss at the upper right corner and other small nicks at the centre of the right edge. A tiny hole near the lower left corner.

Bolten (loc. cit.) dates this drawing circa 1624-25, as the print by Cornelis Bloemaert the Younger that is based on it is dated 1625.
