bears old attribution in ink, lower right: Frédéric Zuccharo.
bears numbering in pen on the old mount: No721 and 12 and on the backing: No 86
Condition
Laid down on an old mount which appears to be 18th Century . In the middle you can see traces of the folding of the sheet when manufactured . Sign of an old fold to the right margin, corner missing at the bottom right. There are a few creases and tiny losses along the left edge. Rubbing especially at the top of the sheet but also in a number of other places . Some surface dirt.

This appears to be the work of a Northern artist active in Italy and is stylistically very close to Jan Van Der Straet, called Giovanni Stradanus.
