Condition
There are several surface scratches within the sky. The upper and right edges are scuffed, probably due to frame abrasion. The work is presented in an ornate gilt, wood and plaster frame, with a hessian inlay.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a passage of retouching to the lower right edge.
