Condition

The painting has been relined. The work has been scuffed in the lower right quadrant. There is a fine vertical crack in the paint surface (approximately 30cm in length) in the lower left quadrant. The work is executed on a thickly woven canvas. Presented in a gilt, wood, art deco frame. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals several spots of retouching towards the upper and lower edges, a patch in the upper left quadrant, and to the vertical crack in the lower left quadrant.
