Condition
The work is executed on cream laid paper which is hinged to the mount at the top. There is light staining to the exposed area which is visible by comparison to the edges protected by the mount. There are two horizontal creases to the work which both extend across its width. The first seems to be the result of the work having been folded in half, the second runs approx. 1 inch above that. There is a further horizontal crease to the top left hand corner. There is rubbing and scuffing to the surface of the paper especially visible in two vertical lines to the right of the figure but these would seem to be the artist's own corrections at the time that the work was conceived.
