painted in lemon-yellow outlined in red. Very minor restored rim chip.

There is a very minor 1/2-inch area of restoration covering a smaller chip to the underside of the rim; otherwise good condition.

Single plates in this very rare color vaiant of the well-known 'Fitzhugh' pattern were sold in these rooms from the Collections of John  T. Dorrance, Jr., and Mrs. J. William Griffth, on October 20, 1989, lot 406 and October 15, 1993, lot 110 respectively.
