colorfully painted on the interior of the teabowl and in the center of the saucer with a winged cherub holding a lotus blossom amidst further sprays of lotus within a border of variously colored and diapered panels edged in gilding. Minor tiny chips.

There is a minor almost 1/8-in. chip to the underside of the rim at about 11 o'clock; a very minor pinhead chip to the point of one flute at 4 o'clock; and another similar pinhead chip at 8 o'clock. The teabowl has a very minor small frit/firing-related tear at the rim edge and a tiny pinhead chip to the tip of one flute. Both have some minor occasional wear to the enamels of panelled border, particularly along the 'ribs' of the teabwl's exterior.
