wool warp, reduced in length, original upper end finish, moth damage, small reweave, overcast sides, scattered spot stains,

 

Condition

Pile generally good dense 1/6 of an inch overall with some areas of moth damage low to knot heads and foundation. Reduced in length, cut is at upper end of field - only visible on reverse due to dense pile. Vertical foldwear along warps also low to knot heads. Small repiled moth area in outer border. Pile in upper end border low to knot heads due to extensive moth damage. Some scattered spot stains. Most of cabled end finish repaired and rewoven with approximately 6in. by 1in. of upper end guard border rewoven. Sides secured with later overcastting. Cloth tape sewn on reverse at lower end. Very dense pile, robust weave, hard-wearing carpet, will enhance with cleaning.
