In overall good condition.
Marked on body, nozzles and sconces. Only date letter, K, under the base of one of the candlesticks, maker's mark only on nozzles. Probably repolished.

Le poinçon de Louise Laffitte inclut la lettre V, ce qui implique qu'il s'agit de son poinçon de veuve. Elle reprit l'atelier de son mari, Marc Lalanne Aîné, à la mort de ce dernier en 1743. Elle était encore en activité en 1756.
