Description

  • on three griffin feet, the body applied above the spout with a classical male figure carrying an athenienne, on the other side a maiden and two doves (with later tap finial, gilding worn mainly on cover)

  • 16 1/2 in high
reposant sur trois pieds en forme de griffons, le corps appliqué sur la face avant d'un homme portant une athénienne et sur la face arrière d'une femme portant deux colombes (le haut du robinet rapporté, usures au vermeil surtout sur le couvercle)

Condition

The gilding worn and scratches specially on the cover. As said, the tap finial later. Marked on cover, base and lamp. Very nice quality.
