Condition
In overall good condition. Some scratches. Below the centre, a small circular plaque with four spaces is applied. Legible marks and assay stripe.
Very nice quality of engraving. It is thought that the central piece or metal at the back is to strengthen the piece before engraving

Les armes sont celles des familles de Clercx et de Techier pour Jean-Nicolas de Clercx né le 16 janvier 1682, mort le 2 juillet 1738. Il épousa le 20 juillet 1720 Marie Lambertine de Tassin de Techier. Elle mourut le 13 avril 1752. Ils eurent deux enfants dont Jean-Guillaume de Clercx qui épousa Marie-Thérèse, baronne de Haime.
