Condition

Generally very good overall condition. The surfaces have been repainted the the silver-leaf has been re-applied. Minor rubbing, paint chipping and scattered dents to surface as expected. There may be some replacements to the pulls.

Catalogue Note

The present model is a pivotal work in Frankl's career.  The desk was designed as an expression of American modernity and with it Frankl moved further away from the European influences of his earlier works.
