A zilig mosaic mural panel with a pattern of squares laid on a diagonal from the Dar Swiqet al-Dabban in Fez and now in the Musée du Batha is illustrated in the exhibition catalogue, De l'Empire Romain aux Villes Imperiales, p.449, no.218.

Though such mosaic tile panels can be found in both North Africa and in Spain, and Moroccan craftsmen also worked at the Alhambra with their mosaic skills using similar motifs, the colours of this panel suggest that this panel comes from the Alhambra rather than Morocco.
