Description

of open form with broad sloping rim, on a wide foot, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze copper lustre with a large undulating foliate stem with eight paired leaves issuing from the border of a central roundel, the border with seven detached leaves, the interstices with spindly stems, flowerheads and scrolls, the back with tightly-spaced radial concentric rings

minor chips to foot ring and rim, minor losses to glaze, crack running from three o'clock and forking at six and seven o'clock with associated repair, as viewed
