Description

of typical square section tapered to the foot, each side decorated with a tier of large leaves, flared at the corners to meet the downward-curling corner points of the top, surmounted by a drilled chain band, the top in the form of an eight-pointed star with a stylised face to the middle of each side and the surface adapted for later use as a stoup

Condition

In good overall condition, water stains to the surface top around the carved well, some rubbing and chips to the faces and two of the corners, as viewed.
