red-bodied, of high-shouldered form with oviform body sloping shoulder and short everted rim, on a low foot, painted in coloured slips with a broad frieze of reciprocal shield-form leaves in red and green each with a beaded border and a split-palmette centre, a narrow pseudo-calligraphic band to the neck
