Description

of rectangular form mounted on a velvet-covered wood surround, the forged iron body damascened with silver and gold in the form of a mihrab with cusped archway supported on a columns with stellar motifs, the spandrels with cartouches filled with arabesque and inscriptions, a foliate crown with palmette finial enclosing a radiating roundel with inscription

overall good condition, slight rubbing, minor losses to edges of frame, mounted on modern velvet frame, as viewed.
