Description

of decagonal form, the ten legs carved to form trefoil arches with circular mother-of-pearl studs to the spandrels and ivory-inlaid feet, surmounted by checkerboard panels, the top with a motif of six-pointed mother-of-pearl stars separated by hexagonal tortoiseshell pieces, bordered by concentric bands of inlaid ivory, ebony and triangular mother-of-pearl elements

Overall good condition, minor inlay losses to the feet, some small surface chips, as viewed.
