of octagonal form, with eight faceted legs complete with cusped arches decorated with ivory arabesques, the sides and top inlaid with mother-of-pearl and ebony in an interlacing geometric pattern with central stellar medallion, bordered with further bands of interlocking polygons in mother-of-pearl, ebony and ivory
