Description

of baluster form, the slightly waisted truncated conical base with flattened drip-pan, the short narrow cylindrical neck terminating in a broad concave mouth with everted lip, incised with astrological and stellar roundels alternating with bands of calligraphy and hunting dogs against a scrolling vegetal ground

Condition

pitting and patination, hole at base of shaft, split to foot, minor dents and abrasions to extremities, rubbing to incised decoration, as viewed
