Description
with slightly curved fullered blade, the hilt of silver-gilt with finely carved and chased foliage heightened with niello, the leather-covered scabbard with silver mounts, two with raised bosses and suspension loops, decorated en suite on one side in silver-gilt, the other side with stellar motif and floral decoration in niello on a plain silver ground, with inscription to the lock
Condition
In very good overall condition with sharpened blade, some minor rubbing to the leather on the scabbard, as viewed.
