Description

the straight blade with central ridge, the marine ivory hilt with applied parcel-gilt silver decoration comprising two rosettes on either side and a vertical repoussé band with three raised bosses to the pommel, the scabbard fully mounted in silver, decorated with palmettes incised on a fish-scale ground with herringbone bands to the lock and chape

Condition

In good overall condition, some rubbing to the silver-gilt lock on the scabbard, as viewed.
