A group of Four mounted bows, Turkey and India, 18th century

the horn bow of characteristic curved form, with lacquered gilt borders and swirling bands to the grip; the long slender bow with a leather-covered inner section and gilded inscription to the lower tip; the bow with wide beam with two grooves above and below the grip on the outer section, the grip and inner ends decorated with interlacing floral designs, inscription to the lower tip; the wooden bow with two grooves to the outer section and painted decoration on both sides comprising vegetal and palmette motifs

the first with small losses to the laquer and some abrasions, in overall good condition; the second with scuffs to the leather onthe inner side; the third with loses to the paint and some chips to both sides; the fourth with some scuffing and losses to the paintwork, as viewed.
