Description
the curved watered-steel blade double-edged towards the tip, the talwar hilt with baluster form grip and broad quillons, decorated throughout with fine koftgari comprising scrolling vines and mini-medallions, inscription to the disc pommel surmounted by a foliate openwork loop with attached cord, the leather-covered scabbard with corresponding pierced koftgari chape
Condition
Slight wear to koftgari around the rim of the pommel and tip of the scabbard chape, patches of wear consistant with age to the leather scabbard covering, as viewed.
