Description

the curved double-edged steel blade chiselled at the forte with a lotus palmette, the green hilt with rounded pommel and scroll quillons carved with lilies and cypress leaves; single-edged tapered blade with foliate koftgari decoration to forte and along the flattened back, the pistol-grip hilt with faceted pommel and knop finial, decorated all over with flowering vines bordered by narrow floral and foliate bands; the narrow slightly tapered steel blade with jade hilt with carved floral pommel set with a pearl, the forte with gold overlaid scrolls

jade khanjar: associated blade with pitting and patination, hilt in good condition; pitting to blade, rubbing to koftgari; loss to end of blade, minor pitting, patination and rust, minor abrasion to hilt, as viewed
