Description
composed of twenty-four tiles, decorated with scenes of a royal picnic with two male figures seated on a carpet attended by youthful servants bearing flasks, in the foreground a troop of three dancing girls, all set amidst bowls of pomegranates, floral bouquets, vases and other flasks, the sky filled with birds in flight, the border with a succession of oblong cartouches enclosing further courtly figures, framed and backed
Condition
Some chips and abrasions to the edges of individual tiles, surface slightly uneven with some gaps between tiles and pitting, one tile to the top left hand side broken and repaired, as viewed.
