the pear-shaped body with tapering cylindrical neck terminating in an unglazed slightly flaring mouth, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a horizontal register of four lotus roundels reserved against a foliate ground, bordered by major and minor bands of scrolling vine issuing lotus blossoms, the neck with an arcade of vertical panels with dot and palmette motif, the mouth with bands of upright and overlapping leaves
