Condition

This early print from the negative, on double-weight paper with a slight surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. There is some wear at the margin edges, and the corners are slightly bumped. When examined in raking light, a number of soft and sharp handling creases and small indentations, not breaking the emulsion, are visible on the surface, as well as small deposits, possibly of original retouching, and extremely faint scratches. These are insignificant and do not affect the overall attractive appearance of this print. There is light soiling on the reverse of the print.
