This portrait, on matte-surface paper with a smooth surface, is in generally very good to excellent condition. In raking light, silvering is visible in the darkest blacks of the print. The bottom left corner of the print is very lightly creased. There are a few very small bumps along the edges of the print. The photograph is on a mount that is buff-colored on the front, and gray on the reverse. There is very minor surface soiling, and the corners are lightly bumped. There is a ¾-inch vertical tear at the center of the bottom edge.
