Condition

This luminous print is on paper with a slightly glossy surface and is in generally excellent condition. When examined in high raking light, several small, extremely faint, light, scratches and scuffs are visible on the surface. These are not readily apparent except when examined closely under raking light. As is typical of prints Weston made in the 1930s, this print is mounted to thick board with a slick surface on the front and a dark gray paper-like surface on the reverse. Also typical of Weston's 1930s prints are the full signature and date on the mount. There is minor wear, light scuffing, and age-darkening at the edges, and the corners are bumped.
