The photographs in this portfolio are all in generally excellent condition.
'Joe's Auto Graveyard' has a few very light impressions on the left side of the print. These do not break the emulsion and are only visible in raking light.
'Dock-worker' has one faint hairline scratch in the sitter's beard.
The plate list, colophon, and introductions are all in generally excellent condition.
The portfolio box is in generally very good condition. The flaps, pastedowns, and exterior covers are lightly foxed. The spine is also lightly foxed and age-darkened. The black linen slipcase is lightly rubbed.
