Condition

This early print, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. It is wholly consistent in its presentation for a Weston print of this period, with the signature and date on the front of the matte-surface beige mount board, and the title in the center on the reverse. When examined in raking light, very light silvering in the dark areas is visible. There is some age-darkening at the periphery, and the reverse of the mount is lightly soiled.
