Catalogue Note
Using the Zapruder Film as source material, Christopher Brown composed a series of paintings of John F. Kennedy's assassination, of which this is one. Another work from this series is in the collection of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City (Gift of the E. Kemper Carter and Anna Curry Carter Community Memorial Trust, 1996).
