An 8 by 9 1/2  in. watercolor and pencil study for this painting will accompany the lot.  The study is inscribed Gift to Carroll Wales 1968 to accompany the picture which he bought.  M.P. Jr.  and Believed to be the Preliminary Sketch for 'Sheep Pasture' by Maxfield Parrish. Maxfield Parrish Jr. on the reverse.
