Our guest curator for the Important Design auction, taking place in Paris on 21 November, Frédéric Malle shares with us his choices through the creations of the designers featured in the sale.

This season the Important Design sale celebrates women designers from the early 20th century to the present day.&nbsp; From Eileen Gray to Zaha Hadid, these women have influenced the history of design. We are pleased to present in this sale major works of each of them and in particular the console by Eileen Gray for Marie-Laure and Charles de Noailles, a Forme libre table by Charlotte Perriand, a Galuchat chest of drawers by Ingrid Donat, a Ruban stool by Maria Pergay, mirrors by Line Vautrin, an Aqua black table by Zaha Hadid but also emblematic works by Claude Lalanne and Joy de Rohan Chabot.&nbsp;
