Amaranth Ehrenhalt

Part of the second generation of Abstract Expressionists, Amaranth Ehrenhalt was a celebrated, multifaceted artist who worked in both New York and Paris, producing full canvases of vibrant colors. Exhibiting alongside contemporaries Joan Mitchell, Sam Francis, and Beauford Delaney, Ehrenhalt made a style all her own, painting improvisationally with wet-on-wet brushstrokes.
