United by precision, innovation and expertise, Sotheby’s and Hennessy Paradis Imperial are partnering together for the A Life Less Ordinary video series.
A Life Less Ordinary follows a diverse mix of collectors and tastemakers who share their personal stories of building a collection. By stepping into their homes and work spaces, audiences not only view exquisite art, rare objects and mechanical marvels, but they also hear firsthand about the passion and precision it takes to uniquely tailor a collection to its owner.

The expert cognac-making Fillioux family has been practicing the "art of selection" for two centuries. Every day the current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde tastes dozens of samples to determine which will be combined to produce the brand’s great cognacs, including Hennessy Paradis Imperial. Hennessy Paradis Imperial has creatively engaged with the art world to capture the Master Blender’s ineffable process, in all of its beautiful complexity. For example, the house commissioned Marshmallow Laser Feast, a London-based artist collective, to create an illuminating sculpture titled The Quest. This immersive installation resides in the Founder’s Cellar where Hennessy Paradis Imperial preserves its rarest and most precious eaux-de-vie at its French headquarters.
With craftsmanship and innovation at Hennessy Paradis Imperial’s core, A Life Less Ordinary will indubitably present remarkable collectors and collections.
