The expert cognac-making Fillioux family has been practicing the "art of selection" for two centuries. Every day the current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde tastes dozens of samples to determine which will be combined to produce the brand’s great cognacs, including Hennessy Paradis Imperial. Hennessy Paradis Imperial has creatively engaged with the art world to capture the Master Blender’s ineffable process, in all of its beautiful complexity. For example, the house commissioned Marshmallow Laser Feast, a London-based artist collective, to create an illuminating sculpture titled The Quest. This immersive installation resides in the Founder’s Cellar where Hennessy Paradis Imperial preserves its rarest and most precious eaux-de-vie at its French headquarters.
