Yasmeen joined Sotheby’s in 2016 ahead of the opening of Sotheby’s Dubai office. Bringing over a decade of experience in the art market, she specialises in Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern art, combining deep regional expertise with an international perspective and longstanding relationships across the Middle East.
Since joining Sotheby’s, Yasmeen has played an integral role in the valuation and cataloguing of major collections and museum-quality works for the biannual Middle Eastern art auctions held in London, as well as the company’s inaugural auctions across the region. Her notable contributions include Boundless: Dubai, Sotheby’s first cross-category sale in the region, and This Too Shall Pass, a charity auction held in collaboration with Alserkal Avenue.
More recently, Yasmeen was instrumental in the delivery of Origins, Sotheby’s first international auction in Saudi Arabia, staged in Diriyah in February 2025. Following its record-breaking success, she contributed to the second edition of the sale in February 2026, which achieved further record-breaking results and reinforced the growing strength and global appeal of the Saudi art market.
