Biography
Stéphanie Denizet has been an auctioneer since the opening of the French art market in 2001, and began her career at Tajan in the Inventory Department.
She joined Sotheby's France in 2002, where she heads the Inventory Department. In this capacity, she has carried out numerous inventories of prestigious collections, some of which she auctioned at Sotheby's in Paris, including those of Baron Alexis de Rédé (2005), the Fabius Gallery (2010), Nicolas Landau and Jacqueline Goldman (2012), Marshal Berthier, Prince of Wagram (2013), the Dukes of Mortemart (2014), the Dillée family (2015), and those of Maurice and Bernard Boutet de Monvel and Robert de Balkany in 2016, Madame Djahanguir Riahi, Jacques Grange and Antal Post de Bekessy in 2017, and more recently the collections of Pierre Bergé in 2018, and those of the Schickler Pourtalès family, Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne and the Countess de Ribes in 2019.
