Emmanuel Van de Putte

Emmanuel van de Putte joined Sotheby’s in 2013. He started his career as Director of the Belgian auction house Lempertz, before moving to Christie’s Impressionist & Modern Art Department as a specialist between Paris, London and Brussels. He also worked as Managing Director of Chester Collections, a company specialising in the management of private art collections. Emmanuel has a pan-European experience and renowned specialist knowledge that has allowed him to develop close contacts with many important collectors in a number of fields, making him a key contributor to Sotheby’s major European auctions.
