S otheby’s Hong Kong is delighted to present our second online spirits sale of 2021: Distilled | Whisky + Moutai. The sale opens with a range of rare Japanese whiskies from Karuizawa, Hanyu, Chichibu, Hakushu, Hibiki, Yamazaki and more. Examples include a single lot containing 18 editions of Karuizawa 36 Views of Mount Fuji, Hanyu Ichiro's Malt Card Series The Colored Joker, and The Cask of Yamazaki #OM70174 1990.

Exceptionally fine scotch from iconic distilleries such as The Macallan, Glenfarclas, Port Ellen and Laphroaig provide highlights which include The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 2018/ASB-1683/13 1950, Glenfarclas Family Cask #3483 1972 and Port Ellen 40 Year Old 9 Rogue Casks 1979.

Also featured is the Chinese spirit Kweichow Moutai, with an array of bottlings from 1982 to 2019, including the Kweichow Moutai HK Friends Of Moutai Special Editions. Cognac and Rum lovers will be delighted to find the Rémy Martin Louis XIII, Jean Martell Cognac L'OR and the super rare Appleton Estate 50 Year Old Jamaica Independence Reserve Rum which are all on offer in the sale.
