From the Archive | Day 5 | Dunk Low 'Jedi' Signed by Mark Hamill
July 24, 8:30 AM EST – July 31, 1:00 PM EST

S otheby’s is pleased to present, as the close of From the Archive week, a single lot Online-Only auction for a pair of Dunk Low 'Jedi' Nikes signed by Mark Hamill – an online auction celebrating the Star Wars franchise, and the character of Luke Skywalker.

The shoes are particularly notable, as Mark Hamill signed the left shoe “Luke Skywalker,” a special detail that makes the item particularly rare.

The shoes themselves, released in 2004 imitate the ragged attire as well as green skin of the Star Wars character “Yoda.” Yoda was a Jedi Master who trained Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the 1980 smash hit, The Empire Strikes Back.

Dunk Low 'Jedi' Nikes signed by Mark Hamill. Estimate $15,000–20,000.

The laces, tongue and heel are all neon-green, which references the iconic use of light sabers in the film. Sotheby’s is extremely excited to honor the legacy of the Star Wars franchise.
