Levels into the neck, slightly wrinkled vintage neck tags, 2 corroded capsules, 1 bottle shows signs of slight seepage
Really tawny, heathery, spicy nose. Cloves and aniseed which follow through on the palate. Meaty. Currants at the end, then cherries. So much glycerol. This will be one of the greats, but less appealing than the 1989 now. Utterly splendid wine. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
