4to (208 x 160mm.), engraved title, contemporary limp vellum, full-page engraved portrait, numerous engraved maps and illustrations in the text, errata leaf at end, slight worming at end


The Belgian Zuallart made a six-month pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem in 1586. Books one and two describe the journey to the Holy Land, including descriptions of Zante, Crete and Cyprus.
